Log Kya Kahenge….
Log Kya Kahenge ….
Being a part of the Indian society, we all have heard this phrase “LOG KYA KAHENGE…”, mostly from parents, relatives, neighbors, friends.
As for me, even I have been a victim of this, but most of the time I had stood for myself,
Do you want to know how..??
I won’t tell about the story where I had been it’s victim, because “Log Kya Kahenge”…. hahaha…
The positive one with me is that I never gave up on my passion.
Being the son of a farmer cum Ex-Navy serviceman, I have been fond of agriculture and defense from childhood itself, it’s like “Jai Jawan Jai Kisan” was known to me from my birth itself I would say.
As time passed on, I realized I am more inclined towards agriculture.
Yes, people, “Agriculture” is my passion.
Ever since then I had decided that I would work in the Agriculture sector, be it an agriculture industry or my farm.
After my graduation in agriculture biotechnology, I had 2 years of break, during those 2 years I was not idle, I was busy doing a few courses and working on my farm. People use to say to me or my family to prepare for Competitive exams or do any job, “Kheti me kya he Bhai..!!”, “Agriculture me Sirf scope he, career Nahi he”, they see you differently.
But then I decided to opt for MBA-Agribusiness
I finally completed my MBA from Symbiosis Institute, it was a dream of mine to study in Symbiosis. Later, got campus placement to a Agricultural Services startup and am still working here as a Marketing Manager, given lots of responsibilities from my seniors, it has been a great experience here so far.
I am really glad that I haven’t given up on my passion for agriculture, and you never stop learning over here, you find new challenges time on time. I am lucky to have my parents who have supported me in all of the circumstances. I am always inspired by my Father and Uncles, they have been doing new kinds of stuff in agriculture which had made me more passionate about agriculture.
“Log Kya Kahenge” Syndrome, also known as LKK Syndrome, actually it’s not any kind of syndrome or disease, but it is not much less harmful than any syndrome or disease.
It’s is the fear, or discomfort, or a thought that is influenced by people in our society.
· I want to do love marriage if the girl or boy is of another caste- “Log Kya Kahenge?”
· I don’t want to have a child 3 years from marriage- “Log Kya Kahenge?”
· I want to carry football as a career- “Log Kya Kahenge?”
· I don’t want to do a job; I want to start my own business- “Log Kya Kahenge?”
LKK has majorly affected youngsters. Many people had killed their dreams, gave up on their passion, ended their once-forever relationships, changed lifestyle, etc. etc. etc.
The whole story has been told, just to show that there’s a time that you have to stand for your passion/dream. People opinion does matter but we should not let it affect our lifestyle or dream.
I do remember a song for this, “Kuch to Log Kahenge, Logo Ka Kaam he Kehna….”
